THE FORAGE RETURNS TO DAIRY ROAD ON SATURDAY 19 OCTOBER
We are gearing up for The Forage on Saturday 19 October held at 1 Dairy Road, Fyshwick.
Big River will be serving from both its Distillery Door and our market stall.
Foragers will be able to enjoy our popular G&T featuring our Canberra Dry Gin or a Cinn Gin and dry ginger ale.
We will also be serving our October Cocktail of the Month at Forage, the Cinn Mac, see recipe below.

There will be over 40 different producers of gin all under the one roof at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Cocktail of the month: The Cinn Mac
Spring has sprung and Big River has found a new cocktail that evokes the season of cool mornings and warm afternoons. A Big thanks to our Curious Cocktail Cub members Jannee and Bevis for sharing their recipe they created using our Cinn Gin, a variation of the famous Whisky Mac.
- 30 ml Big River Cinn Gin
- 30 ml Stone’s Green Ginger Wine
(1) Fill an old fashioned glass with ice
(2) Pour over Cinn Gin and the Ginger Wine
(3) Stir gently and enjoy!
For a longer drink, use a highball glass to make the Cinn Mac, then top off to taste with soda water.
A Whisky Mac is usually served garnish free but you could add a cinnamon quill to the Cinn Mac or accompany it with some slices of crystallised ginger.
