Like to try a foghorn?

Foghorn cocktail with limeLately we have been experimenting with ways to serve Big River’s newly-released Cinn Gin; our apple, cinnamon and spice-flavoured gin. We came across the Foghorn, a cocktail apparently made famous at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in Manhattan.

The Foghorn, our cocktail of the month, is made using Big River’s Cinn Gin, a good quality ginger beer and lime juice. For ginger beer try Bentspoke’s GFG or Capi’s non-alcoholic version.

Perfect for those who prefer a drier style cocktail, the Foghorn’s pungency from the ginger beer and the sharpness of the lime make it an ideal afternoon tipple.

There’s a new venue in town

Need a place to host an intimate event? Somewhere a bit different for your next book club or small-group catch-up? Our Distillery tasting room is at your service.

We can cater for up to 16 people at our premises at the Dairy Road Precinct in Fyshwick. For a fixed price of $45/person your guests will enjoy a drink upon arrival, a tutored tasting with Clyde Morton (our Founder and Chief Beverage Engineer) and a look around a working Distillery.

Guests can also purchase drinks from our menu including G+Ts, Gin lime & soda, Negroni, beers from our neighbours Capital Brewing Co, King Valley Prosecco and Capi softies.
